SCADA systems are used to monitor and control a plant or equipment in industries such as water and waste water control, oil and gas, automotive, mining and many more. SCADA systems can be relatively simple, such as single station monitoring a production line, or incredibly complex such as a multi-station system that monitors all the activity in a power plant, municipal water system, mining site, or etc.

HMI configuration has been relative straight forward but tagging is relatively time consuming. Since the introduction of popup screen (some called it faceplate) with indirect addressing, SCADA tagging is getting a lot faster in the big project. We see a big time saving in using popup screen (faceplate); we will be glad to share this with our customers. A well plan SCADA system requires only one typical popup for each type of equipment, such as motor, pump, VFD, valve, auto-manual station, and etc. Our approach emphasizes in efficiency, consistency and standardizing, and we have done many multi-station SCADA systems.
